The BBQ evolution at my house

I will be either moving to a Fast Eddy or a Backwoods or both haha. I have not made up my mind yet but I have to sell it first. I need to measure the total cooking surface of it and get all of the specifications to get it ready and give it a fresh coat of BBQ black.

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

You evoloved quite well.

I vote for either a FEC clone or a chute clone.
I will let ya all know how I think they compare after the gathering, since we will set mine next to franks and cook like foods on each and see what turns out.

This should give us a fare side by side, so we can post the pros and cons of each.

None of them are perfect for everything. I do like the idea of cooking a cake though.I really want to see how the fuel cost compares as well.

The BBQ evolution at my house

Post by BigOlBoysBBQ » July 28th, 2012, 11:16 am

Thanks Smoker Tom, I am looking forward to the gathering and seeing which one works best. My brother in law is ordering a backwoods and I am selling the offset after we received the backwoods in. Then I get to pick up something for myself. I like sleep so I might build a pellet smoker myself like the FEC but who knows the key is selling the offset that's for sure.
