We're considering a few plans for the firebox, charcoal, wood, electric biscuit pellets, and such, we will definitely need to insulate the whole firebox and cookhouse due to the 6 months of winter here in Calgary. Leaning towards charcoal and wood we don't think that the electric system would provide enough heat for the size of the cooking chamber. Looking @ building the frame out of 2x2 angle iron rf 4'x 4'x 6' cook-chamber in 12 gauge. The chargrill is going to be pretty basic 4'x8', big enough for whole hogs, steaks for 300, and plenty of pancakes on the removable griddle for the stampede/ rodeo days! hoping to keep the price in @ around a grand so I can get larger capacity grinder/ sausage stuffer to really crank out some tasty bits, currently got 40 kg of beef belly curing for bacon, hmmm beef bacon!
Thanks for the warm welcomes, can't wait for future chat's!
