Made a couple changes so far today. Fixed up the stoker condo. Reseasoned and installed the drip edge on the door.

Now to put real casters on it.

Plenty of room to expand in that condo! :-)
Most guys go to the doghouse, Tom can go to the condo! :P

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

Looks like builders think alike.

Oh MAN.......JUST realized that I forgot to eat again. Seems like that's happening a lot these days.

Thought I would post a pic of my new creeper. Had to break it out to do the lift kit caster change out.

I surley do think it may roll better now

Well for all intent and purpose. I think I'm done. Wow what a build, and at this point I am thinking that I'm not all that worried about paint.

I'm wore out.

Tom, I've been watching this build and now I am CHOMPING at the bit to do one. I started sticking some steel together a while back, looks like I'll have to pick up where I left off.

Great job! Can't wait to see it at the gathering.

Nothing I like more than to kick back with a Zima and a Virgina Slim reading 50 Shades of Grey with DCman (The Czar).

I took a chance on the insulation and not sure I like it yet.

I want to compair side by side with Franks build, as far as heat transferee.

It was cheap but I'm getting more heat then I wanted in the chute area.

big difference I would think would be the heat of the chute fire box. pellets are in the center of the cabinet so i don't have a hot spot....

Hi guys new to the forum just read through the whole thread with interest looks like a really nice build. Definitely guven me something to think about I like the efficiency of the design and the small footprint of the smoker think I'm going to start having a few beers with our fabricator at work lol

Tom can any of the chute skin "see" the fire at any place?
If so it might be migrating (conductive) out from there instead of passing through the insulation - just a thought...

I looked at it perty good at the gatherin' but I was drinking at the time so it's hard to separate what I remember about your smoker from those dang red/blue spotted rabbits that were following me around all weekend and trying to steal my pie! ... :D

And to think I was keeping quiet about the rabbits and the clown I saw. LOL

Them wabbits were so easy to see after i fired up the 10,000 watt light for those souls setting up in the dark. LOL Oh ya .... wanst that the same light that someone forgot to turn off. Yup I think it was.

I just saw the other day that we can buy apple pie at the local Quik Trip. In the heavy alcohol dept.

And no I dont think that there is anyplace where the fire can contact the outside skin.

Welcome Rum and shout out if we can help ya with getting ready for a build, dont let the pics fool ya, the footprint isnt all that small, and its for sure not a light weight.

I promise guys,,,,,,,I will empty the water this time .... before the next comp.
Sure did smell last time.

Hey,,,, at least I ran a little anti freeze in my new plumbing tho.
