250 gal RF smoker build

I'm building my first RF smoker outta a 250 gallon propane tank. I want to build it with a single lid but I would like to make it with a flat lid. Anyone have any ideas on how to go about doing that?

I don't see any reason you couldn't square off the front with some sheet metal and build yourself a frame and door. Someone will be along that knows more than me. I've seen them, just can't remember where.
