That rig is coming along very nice. I like the bevel of the FB too. It may help move the heat in the right direction, I've been thinking of slanting the whole top or at least most of it. The amount you chose to do, will surely get the heat rolling in the right direction. Good planning.

Looking good! I like it, and am sure you will like the smoking addiction too.

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

Well now, the air vent on the front side of the fire box is simply amazing ...... one of the best that I have seen,

I like the small bevel on the FB as well, but just for the visual pleasure.

Now, IMO once again

That right there is an awesome design for the tongue. I love it.

I simply hate the short trailer tongue's ,, no room to store anything, and besides that most short tongue trailers wont let the tailgate of a pickup lay down to load and unload stuff. The jack is always in the way.

Any ideas on axle placement? Trailer is10'by 44" with a 48" tongue. FB hanging off back. Adding tongue box wood storage burner and 20# propane bottle towards the front. No hard plans yet, just thinking. Thanks.

One of these days I will build a trailer with a sliding set of tandem axle's.

Like the way the semi trailers are built.

I have fallen asleep many nights thinking about this.

I cant help but to think it would be easy to build and could benefit down the road when the remodel happens.
