You can make an upright out of the tank. You can make it an offset with a side firebox, or make the fire box in the tank with a baffle plate. Lots of options. You definitely need a second and maybe even a third!
BBQ is just smoke and beers!

You could build a round vertical backwoods style rig. I have never seen a round one. Backwoods style that is.
They have fire inthe bottom. plate and transfeere tubes that take the smoke to the top and the stack leaves the bottom.
In a seance, its a reverse flow. Sorta.
