Letting the RTV dry overnight then tacking up some hinges! :welder:

Ha, Ha yep!!! Was sort of a B!@#$%tch cutting out the cap though...I don't have a good circle cuting jig for the plasma... so it's a little off but it'll do... My Ranch Welding and Fab skills are getting better though.

P.S. Will put a horseshoe handle on the Ash Pan Drawer too...

Looks good. Oxy torches leave a little to be desired in the precision department don't they? Have you got a goal time to be firing up?

Here's what I came up with for my charcoal basket... not sure about the placement/height etc. We shall see... if It doesn't work out I can always drop it down some.. I wanted it high enough to get good air flow underneath the coals... but it may be a little high to add logs to... I can always build another one that hangs lower!!

WOW! You should be feeling pretty good about the outcome of your efforts. That is becoming one sweet rig there. I would love to have one that size at my house. Good Job!

Working on some cart reinforcement and finishing touches before I fire this up and start doing a burn in. My little nuematic tires were quite strained under the weight... so rather than going with biger tires and having to re-do the height etc. of the casters... I did this... Does it turn on a dime like it used to.. No... Does it look pretty cool.. I think so!!!!! LOL :grillin:

Tandem axels, that works. Hey the cooker is not like everyone elses, and it is easy to see now isn't it? We know how to get things done.
