I know you insulate between the spaces, does the tubing get hot where this is no insulation cause I am sure you do not poke insulation down in it. 2. ken in the pic at the top of the cooker where the heat comes into the cook chambe did you trim that out with angle or am I having a TQ mirage. 3. can you give some dimensions I am gonna build one soon. 4. is the water pan removeable

On my stumps clone the tubing area does get a little warmer but not enough you can't hold your hand on it.
The top area where the heat enters is not framed, just raw 16 ga.
The waterpan is removeable and will be made of stainless.
Send me your email TQ to kversluis67 at hotmail.com

So is there upward airflow from the firebox on the door side too or just the other 3 walls? :-B

New backwoods clone build

Finally getting to the point to finish these two up.
Picked up my firetruck diamond plate aluminum for the outside panels. Hopefully in the next week or so these two are ready for the test run.

That is some perty diamond plate. The trick is keeping it that shiny, that is the not so fun part.
