Open Call for Smokers!!!

We are doing a calendar shoot for SmokerBuilder and we want to feature your cookers!! There is only one catch - you have to get them to Omaha for the photo shoot.

We are firming up the date, but probably in late May or June time frame. For those that can help us out we've got an awesome SmokerBuilder swag package

and plenty of good company for the duration.

PM Alleyrat58 if you would like your smoker featured in the first ever SmokerBuilder.com calendar. I may need pics of your cooker if it has been awhile since I've seen your build. :noqview:

The calendar pics will be taken by a professional and may I say, extremely awesome photographer, our very own, Bigfoot Yancey.

I can help any out of towners line up accommodations, be it hotel or camping nearby.

Who's smoker will by featured as Mr/Miss January? Mr/Miss February? Could it be yours???

I can't divulge much, but yes the calendar will be appropriate for most ages.

I forgot to mention, your smoker does not even need to be finished. We have ideas for various scenarios, so don't let that discourage you either.

I'm thinking June 15th in Omaha. Still need to confirm that with Frank. So Frank - what do you think about June 15th in Omaha? I can help folks make arrangements for hotel or camping spot nearby. If you stay in a hotel I can help find somewhere to park your trailer, even if it's in my driveway. I'm thinking a Friday night arrival and a little reception to kick off the shin dig, followed by a little beverage and BBQ after we have all the pics taken. I mean, we are going to have all those cookers just lying around...

Arrive Friday - 15 Jun?

All stay in a nearby campground like the gatherin or motel if prefered?

Shoot Friday night or Saturday morning? Cold cookers are MUCH easier to position where Yancey wants them.

Then cook some grub to eat late Saturday afternoon?

This is sounding suspiciously like another gatherin' ....

BUT HEY! ... call it a photo shoot if you like ... sort of has a ring to it .... PHOTO SHOOT .... do you think I could charge for a service like this?
