Hello from Cincinnati,Ohio

Hey all just wanted to say hello from Cincinnati, Ohio. My name is Travis, I have had a smoking problem for the last 4 or 5 years. I had been using a cheap char-grill offset and a akorn kamado. Now that I have completely wore out the offset. I am wanting to build my own smokers. I got two 120 gallon propane tanks last year, and planned on building them then. It never happened. So here I am a year later and two tanks, a new unboxed welder, and a cold saw. I am ready to get the build going.
I have got some great info on this site, and hopefully in the next couple of weeks I will be able to get some more great advice/feedback from all of you builders. I am wanting to make the tanks into RF smokers, and put back to back on a trailer. I will be posting pics of the build this weekend. Anyway I am looking forward to talking to you all, and gain some knowledge about building smokers.

Welcome Travis! Glad to hear about your addiction.
Now that you have admitted to having a tank(s) you are on the path to recovery(smoke) and this is just the place for it!

Welcome.... I just got back from Cincinnati my stepsons live there!!!!! They love to see me coming at the Finley market because I drop some big $$$$$$$ when I go. Welcome to the site and ask away!!!!!!!

Hey guys thanks for all warm welcomes.....just gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling. LOL, Hey TuscaloosaQ I know what you mean about dropping big $$$$$ at Finley Market, I am always down there. It's probably one of the best things about Cincinnati.
Anyway, again thanks guys and I am ready to get my build/builds on. Is it bad that I am already planning out another build before I have my first one even started?....I need help.

Having another smoker planned out before you finish the one you're on just seems to be par for the course. I guess that is a good thing because how else would my wife get in her eye rolling exercises?
