At last, I got to try it out and cook me some ribs. Here I have the fire going and cooking away.
Image

Here is the ribs after about 3 hours, it was actually the first time I opened either one of the cooking doors.
Image

Here is a pic after about 4hours and 1sharp knife.
Image

My Dad just happened to stop by the house whe he heard the smoker was up and running. He took this shot and while it's not the clearest it does show the smoke ring pretty good.
Image
All in all it was a great day, everyone loved the ribs and can't wait for more.

Wow! great build. few things.....where did you get the red handled door clamps? I need some for sure. Also i saw that you adjusted your cc and fb height. I need to do the same, but I have a torsion axle.....might need to remove tank, and fb to add 2" under legs? And what size material did you use for your trailer? I used 2x2 and doubled it up in places, but my trailers a little longer than yours.....does it rock easily left to right? Thnaks Joe

Thank you, and it's not quite done yet so I will keep the pics coming as I complete the final touches.
To answer your questions, the firebox door clamp came from HF... you can search their site for clamps and you will see them for about $5.
As for the trailer, I used 2x3 1/8" and I couldn't be happier. As far as the trailer rocking, I don't notice any excessive rocking but if I try it does rock, not so much that I worry about the trailer being top heavy at all.
If you'd lile to see any close up pictures of anything let me know and I will try to ablige any requests.
Thanks so much for looking and all the great support.

Got to smoke a little bit more last night. Here is a picture of the 73lbs of Boston Butt, after about 5 hours of smoking.

Thank you for the awesome feedback.
I Made The Shelves With 1X1 Angle And There Is 6" Between The Top Of The Bottom Shelf And The Bottom Off The Top Shelf. Then I Split The Difference For The Middle Shelf, Giving 2 1/2" Clearance If I'm Using All Three Shelves or 6" when cooking with the two.

So it's been a while since I posted any updates on this build. In fact I've been having so much fun using it I started to wonder if I was ever going to get the final touches finished up.
Here I finally got the bar handles in place and removed the useless angle iron handles seen in solo many other pics.

Here I built a wood storage box on the back side.

And here is a pic of the front shelf that I finished up today.

That is one great looking and cooking build! I have read the build from the start and I never saw a cutting torch! Did you make ALL the cuts with the grinder and cutoff disks? Amazing!
