THanks TQ!

I'm still putting stuff together on him this afternoon - just stopped for a morsel to eat and a siesta then back at it.

Gotta do as much as I can today before I spend Mother's day with the better half doing her thing all day ….

Goal is to test burn next Saturday - my favorite part.
I should have more pics to post tonight or tomorrow morning …. :D

And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy. :D

Just look at this group of pics backwards and they'll make more sense - I'm tired of resorting them….

Tomorrow's project is to finish the internal power/breaker etc….. but at least I got the chassis mount male plug built today.
And if anybody knows where to buy these dam things already made for a decent price, please send the info my way.

A step back view…
Thanks for finding those handles for me Frank!
That's a Smokerbuilder/Tel-Tru gauge in that door but I can't seem to shoot pics that close with this phone and maintain focus.
Image

Guru installed to show through the front. There will be a plastic lens in this opening after the finish goes on.Image

Key in operation…. and 13 revolutions counterclockwise from full stop closed is exactly 1 inch open….

Old style crank handle key

An opening out the front for the key….
Image

draft installed in the cooker….

…and about half open position….
Image

Completed assembly ready to be installed. Note: Full Open position ….
Image

Well what do you know … a piece of 1/2 inch square tube slips right over it….
Image

Now it's cut on top and bottom to make it square….
Image

A piece of 1/2-13 all thread cut on both sides with a cutoff wheel…
Image

Total draft assembly measuring for spacing on nylocks...

Plenum and draft gate rails

Rick,
Boy that is nice Rick,

I know you were asking if anyone had an idea where to get this, well here is mine.
Here is what I use on my boat, I just plug the extension cord into it and the other end into the wall outlet.

Thanks RC - That's a cool idea with the weather cover and "use any cord" feature …
My son also found one but it sells in 5 or more lots only so your idea is looking like a winner.
