My main problme was running consistent temps in it. This is actually something i wanted to bring up before what do you guys recommend for a thermometer in it or through the door. Because i had the internal like oven one so i had to keep on opening it to guage my temps where they where so i knew how much fuel to add and what not. At some points it would run too hot so would open it to cool it down and then close back up then other times not enough fuel wasnt running hot enough and took awhile to bring back up to temps. So if anyone recommends a fairly inexpensive thermometers for me to use it would be great i eventually want to put a digital on it in we have already put in the piping for the wholes to run everthing through but right now i am broke so gotta finish it up on the cheap.Rodcrafter wrote:
What are you having trouble with? Is it still running too hot? I know I do the best when I'm learning my cooker, by not giving it a lot of fuel at one time or not a lot of air if I have to put a lot of fuel in it.
