first big build 250 gal patio build on large wheels

Post by sewester » June 2nd, 2013, 9:52 pm

i need something thats less than 48" wide. so i can roll in the back yard when not needed to be mobile. i started on the fire box today getting the front door and hinges made. i will post pictures as i go. this site has beena gold mine full of information for researching my build. i welcome any advice from seasoned builders as i have only built a small pit so far.

What thickness metal did you make the hinges out of?
Looks great.

thanks, the hinges are 3/16 steel i know its a little lite but i got a smoking hot deal on ten sheets of it so if i have to add a third hinge for strength i will do that. im planning on putting two together on the fire box side and single on the door side i think that should work. steve
