It looks like a tank graveyard by my shop. The only cut left on a tank is the chamber opening on the large tank. I am going to use spacers and a come along to nest the tanks and then mark the outer tank and cut the chamber opening to match the inner chamber opening. Got the shop cleaned up this morning so I am ready to go again.
Need Advice. My current baffle opening is 380 sq in and the calc says I need 331. I don't think it is worth messing with adding a 5x10 piece just to reduce the area a bit. What do you guys think?
Some progress tonight. Last time I made the squared off frame on the smoker. I learned my lesson and making it on the bench is a million times easier!!!
I tried really hard to cut my doors straight and make them look nice, but they could be much better. Should I trim them out in some 3/16 strap? How else can I make them look nice??
Got most of the door assy done. I think I am going to frame out edges with strap. It will look nicer. Got to figure out how to attach freezer handles and drill holes for gauges. Time to nest some tanks.
And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy.
Current smokers: Egor (trailered RF) and Easybake (tabletop pellet drive)
