Definitely! That's price of materials ($375)/.15. Basic cost control formula for a baseline for a mark up. Still a great affordable price & you make a nice profit.SmokyJon wrote:Just like most other things, it's worth whatever you can get for it. It appears to be a 250 gallon tank? No warming box, single axle utility trailer, I would think you could advertise it for $2500.00 and find a buyer.
Just my 2 cents

I allready have a nitch to build a better smoker. This stuff is sure addicting. I just need to know I can sell the one I have before I invest in another build. im down here in west palm florida. im guessin before the 4th of July would have been a better "adverstising" time, but it wasnt finished yet! Anyway, im ganna give it a coupe weeks before I think of dropping price. The way I see it is I have about $800-$1000 invested, and 1 gazillion "my free time" hours invested. Its time to let her go, and build another. I really enjoy building these "tanks".Clover Ridge Smokers wrote:MAN, I feel for you brother. You are in a tight spot. I would hold the price for a little while yet to see what happens. Where are you advertising it?

Make sure you haven't made typos on your listing, folks wont see your add when they are surfing the net shopping.
