Theses photos show the drain nipple welded in, then the bottom was insulated and the skin put over it. The whole thing was turned over and screwed to the cart.

Then we started insulating the sides and to. The skins were made and plug welded in place.

The next part was to cut the opening for the pot to slide in and to cut an air opening under the pellet drive.

The exhaust was cut in top center (5"). Then we built a heat deflector for the fire pot. A drip pan/baffle was made and installed. The pan has 3/4" gap front and back.

The door was fabbed as two separate pans with the outer skin being slightly bigger. The outer was also cross broke. Insulation was sandwiched between the 2 pans. They were then welded together. We laid the cooker down to mount the door.

Once I got the cooker home I fired it up. That took a little patience but I won't go into that. Anyway, after I lit I sprayed it down with cooking spray and set it for 225. In about 30 mins I had 225 with a 10 degree spread top to bottom. After another 10 to 15 it stabilized and was within a degree or two all over. So I ran it to 350 and let it bake for two hours. Then it was on to the biscuit test. Gotta say they turned out fairly even. (Luck) but ill take it!

Yep! Kinda like me. =))
It's a shame I had a duma$$ attack. Saw a light spot on the door, so I touched it up, not thinking the rest of it was dry. Now I gotta repaint it. ~x(
