CC sized based on FB size??

If I have a firebox sized 22x 16 x 16 about what sized cooking chamber could I have?

I think it has a 6" chimney exit on it, its a old wood burner I would like to use

55g drum would be about max if Im correct

Go to the pit calculator and enter those FB dimensions. Put in a "guess" size for the CC tank at 20" diameter by 40" long using 4" pipe for a stack and let the calc run. From there you can fudge any of the unknown numbers until you get something you like at around 110% for the CC size…. then you'll have a rough idea what size tank to start looking for.

I JUST NOTICED I SAID THAT WRONG! - should have been 110% for the FIREBOX size … sorry
