Back Yard RF

Post by Rodcrafter » December 18th, 2013, 7:49 am

Hey fellas, here is one I've been working on. It has been so slow getting started I thought I would wait until I had something to show you. Well here is some pics, (proof).

This is the piece of pipe 20 x 37 x 3/8

Image

Here is some bent plate I will call flat plate for the purpose of building this cooker. 3/8"

Image

Pipe squared up.

Image

Plate cut into parts.

Image

Tools of the hobby, this one is for Gizmo because of the forklift.

Image

Putting it together.

I cut out the hinges yesterday I'll get you some pics after while. More to be revealed.

Sheeesh! Am I the only one on here WITHOUT a fork lift?!?! :hissy:

Come to think of it - I have some strong friends willing to come over and work for beer …. I think that's cheaper than a forklift … just sayin' :D

Good looking work RC - thanks for the thread/pics :kewl:

Awesome RC

Gizmo...I don't have a forklift or any friends, well any that will help me pick this stuff up. My next cooker, which I plan to start after the holidays is 24x60 1/2" steel. Man oh man it's heavy.

I thought all of us had forklifts. This is the first I heard that Gizmo didn't have one. (just kidding), but it sure is nice having one.
