I guess we will let it slide this time. if your gonna use gas at least this one has the safeties!
Food looks awesome. I have no doubt you will be building a new one in no time.
BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.
Ha ha thanks for the kind(?) words. I have some country style ribs rubbed down at the moment getting ready to go to the smoker. Best part about this is I can concentrate on the flavor and technique, and not worry about the fire as much. You are probably right about me building one later. But for now I'm just enjoying the food and smell of the smoke.

You're hooked! I'm still using my XL but still working on the replacement. My big issue with it is it's not got enough balls to cook in cold weather. Have fun!
Edit:
I had to go back and look to see where you're from. What kind of temps were you able to achieve and how cold was it outside. If it's ~40 here I can barely sustain 225.
If it's tourist season, how come I can't shoot 'em?
Well I cheated a bit on that Pete. It was in the 30's here (South of St. Louis by 2-2.5 hours) when I did the ribs. But where I live in the country there isn't much of a wind break. When the weather says gusts to 20mph, I have constant 20mph gusting to 30mph. I put the smoker in my 10'x12' garden shed to block the wind. Its still cold but no wind really helps. When I reheated the ribs I set it on low-medium and was 250-260 easily. It does take more fuel to get it to temp when it is colder out but not much. I might build me a smoker house to block the wind and rain from it and to I won't have to buy a cover.
Did some country style boneless ribs saturday evening and they were awesome. I had 1 of the six left for lunch on monday. When I reheated it for lunch I had everyone around wondering what smelled so amazing. I even let a few sample the smoky goodness. I just didn't get any pics of it.

Mid November sears had one of the 10x11 yard buildings on clearance for $132. I was an open box item or return or something. I could've modified it into a nice cook shack. I wish I would have purchased it then, but I didn't have the need for one yet.
I did kick around the idea again to an outdoor kitchen area. Talked with the wife about a separate area from the deck to put the grill and smoker under roof with a sink and lights maybe a sitting area. She is for it if we can get some funds together.
