Finally had a chance to install the second BP - the extra picture is the sections cut from the FB openings - welded them together to make a football shaped wok for our tailgating. Have a stand designed in the ol noggin for it to set on over a propane burner or we can put charcoal in it to grill over. Hate to waste good material :kewl:

Blutick that is going to be one awesome cooker... Love the wok idea. I don't care for all of this powerstroke banter, buy the looks of it your gonna need a CUMMINS to pull that thing =)) !

And the talk about Marines VS Navy, minds me of my grandfather, who was a Marine, and his brother always told him the Marines are a department of the Navy...all my grandpa would say in reply was " THE MENS DEPARTMENT" and the conversation would end. Haha

Yes - I'm not quite sure what it will take to move it - may have to install a kingpin on the trailer so I can use one of our tractors to haul it :kewl:

Gizmo - Not sure what it would classify as (the wok that is) so not sure where to list a thread for it...

We are thinking that we will install some sort of rack to hang it on the trailer - plan is to weld laces on the bottom so that folks will know right away what it is. I will include a drawing of the stand once I put it down on paper.

The Navy / Marine thing never bothered me either. I have both sides covered in my family - Brother is a Marine and Dad was a Navy Seal (as seen in earlier posts). Dad has been gone for 3 years now and this project is really a dedication to him for all he taught me - Sherman was the first thought for a name, but on further review I'm thinking some sort of a ship name... U.S.S. ?

Pictures will keep coming as it takes shape - thanks everyone for all the encouragement - Smokerbuilder.com and all of you have helped make this come to life...

NIMITZ ..... Years back. A Kirk Douglas / Martin Sheen movie about the Nimitz being transported in time to Dec 6, 1941. A super power nuclear aircraft carrier facing the Japanese fleet the day before the attack on Pearl Harbor. The dilemma being they can stay and fight the Japanese and destroy the plans for attack and in the process, change the course of history and so many things in between . Some entertaining stuff if you haven't seen it. Netflix. Called the "Final Countdown"

Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life

I nominate "Pigskin" for an official name for the wok.
