Started my first disco tonight. Gonna do a simple one.

I bought some 24" discs the other day at a tractor surplus place. They are about 4" deep. I used a flap disc to remove the paint from the inside. Now for the lip around the edge.

Good news Frank !!!!! I cleaned up a little more in the garage. It just seems like a never ending battle.

Once x mas passes, I hope to get out there and get a start on the new cooker. Along with a disco!!! What do ya think about polishing the cook surface.
Last time I was at Air Gas, they had a polish kit. It was several disc, like maybe 10. The display was a rail road spike, it looked like it had been chromed. They claim that they did the polish right there in the store. Just thinking out loud here but maybe this could be better then teflon.

@killswitch, the regulator that is on it right now is a low pressure. I will.prolly put a high pressure on it to see what I think.
I got the diving board, the ring, and the hole in the disc done. Now to make some handles. This thing is really great! I like it!
