? on figuring 1/2 moon openings

My question has to do with the openings from the FB to the CC and then at the opposite end of the RF chamber before it enters the actual cook area. I have run the #'s on Feldons for sizing of the opening, it comes out to Ø10.29" with an area of 41.62sq". I can figure the opening for the FB, but what about the opening at the other end where it goes around the baffel plate to the actual CC. Do you just hold the baffel plate 4 - 5 " from the end of the tank, or is there an actual # that you need?

You got the #s already. Same size as your FB opening. 41.62".
