Now some gussets. Can't have my friend cooking on a rickety P.O.S.

Hey, just reading the writing on that steel pipe... Waterford, NY? I have friends in Waterford. Are you around this area? Been thru that area 100's of times on the way to my in-laws in VT. Your weather usually sucks more than mine in NJ and frankly, despite my Northern Vermont life and experiences, my weather here is driving me over the edge.
I've got 8 inches of hard snow and ice on my road and driveway and it's lucky that you don't hit your head on the roof of the truck when driving in or out from bouncing over the ruts.

Have not been able to finish the smoker and trailer for the last 7-8 weeks

Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life

Just a couple of miles from Waterford. I'm getting a little winter crazy. It makes it difficult to be in the garage when it's so cold. But I'm hoping to have my friends smoker finished and ready for paint by the middle of next month. Then I start mine.

Winter sucks. I finally got some work done. Here are a few pics. I got the fire box mounted and welded solid. I'll get more pics later. ImageImageImage

The door was warped so I used the method with the floor jack and chains. Helped a lot.

Closed in one end. Baffle plate welded solid.

The next pics are more advanced because I had two back to back days of 60+ degrees and forgot to snap pics as I went along. But I fabbed up the smoke stack and added a door with hinges for the firebox.

Nice work.. Is that the frame you will be using for the cooker? Will you be adding some wheels/casters?
