Good looking work! That is nice insulation to work with - I used it on Edgar and a half inch really helped. :D

And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy. :D

I have a Harbinson Walker Refractory office local so I go straight to them. They will ship to you though.

Todays progress: I finally decided on a chimney design and started my triple stack setup.

I also finished up the firebox door and mounted it to the firebox.

Tomorrow I should have time to finish up the chimney setup.

I'm anxious to see it myself. I don't think I have ever seen a smoker with triple stacks like that, kinda why I'm trying it.

Chimneys mounted. Next I have to put some wheels on this and do some final structural welds. I decided to make a patio unit so I can store it in my garage.

That's the picture I've been waiting to see. Being mounted staggered looks neat and you will have smoke coming from all levels in the CC. Let's make the smoke roll!

Those stacks are sweet, when making stacks like that do you use the same volume if you were using one long one and divide it by 3?

Yes, These 3 total a little under 700 cubic inch. Recommended is 600 cubic inch

Does it fit out the door? I won't answer why I know to ask that question!

Yes, It fits out the door, I measured several times while I planned this!!! Over the past few days I put some wheels on it and rolled it out for a little test. Right as I was about to fire it up I realized I didn't insulate the firebox yet. Nothing was sealed and there still are no dampers or air controls yet but it heated up to 250 and I got it to stay there without a problem. The chimneys draw fine, that was my only concern. Still have to weld in supports but this will give you an idea.

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.
