ROLL CALL - 2014 SmokerBuilder HQ Gathering

Were a little over a month away for the 2014 Gathering at SmokerBuilder HQ. We really need to get an idea how many people will be attending. Please post a reply to this topic if you are planning on attending.

The SmokerBuilder team will be hosting a gathering on June 27th, 28th and 29th 2014 at the new HQ in St. James Missouri. This will be a great opportunity for you to meet the SmokerBuilder team along with other members of our forum. This will be a social event along with a few classes.

We will start the gathering off with hands on Whole Hog 101 class late Friday afternoon. In this class you will learn how to properly trim, inject and season a hog. The Hog will be slow smoked Friday night and be ready for consumption on Saturday. We will need to charge a $20 fee for this class to cover our costs.

On Saturday we will be hosting a 101 class on starting a BBQ rub business. This class will be taught by a person who has helped several people not only develop their rub, but bring it to market successfully.

We are also planning on hosting a Q&A session on anything BBQ or pit building. Think of it as the SmokerBuilder forum “LIVE”. This will be a great opportunity for you to get your questions answered. For those of you who can’t attend, you will be able to post your questions on the forum and we will answer them real time.

For those of you who might be flying in, St. James is located just over an hour from St Louis, MO.

We'll be staying at the motel just down the service road where I stayed last time …. so I don't need a campsite…..

Hello! This is my first time on your forum. My husband is a soldier here at Fort Leonard Wood and he heard about these smoking sessions you have from another soldier. How would I get more information about this? We just received orders to move to Fort Riley, we leave in August and I would love for him to be able to attend something like this before we leave. Thank you so much in advance for any info you could give me.
