Man I have been slacking off. Anyhow I decided to take my door off and make square doors. I really didn't know what I was doing just looked at pics and asked a few questions. I made a cardboard template and went made the side pieces to see whAt it would look like. I think it will work out pretty good. Now I just have to go get some more plate next week.
I'm with RC - I don't think you'll regret the extra work squaring off the doors.
…. but the axle just moved back a little …..

I am going to replace the angle iron frame with one that is 1/4 inch thick I just wanted to get a template that was the proper size before I started cutting up the good thick metal. Then I have lots of grinding and have to make the doors. This was not as difficult a task as I thought it would be. I will be buying a lot of grinding disks to make it look good, but when it's all done i bet it will work. I am glad I decided to change to square doors.
I'll have you know that ALL my welds looks perfect …… at about a quarter mile.

Took me a dang month but I finally got the square doors done. This is a marathon build but I have only really been doing a little here and there so I can't blame anyone but my self. I am please with how the doors came out. I am going to put a piece of strap to cover between the two then make a latch and some handles...then grind all the ugly corner welds. Boooo. Ohh well I am very glad I did this.
