You have a bigger CC then I have. Here's some questions for you: Is that near 36" wide? Certainly will hold some meat. How many interior rack shelves are you planning on? Nice job and that's gotta weigh an extra 100 lbs. are you using 6" or 8" tires on it? What gauge metal are you using for the inner and outer skins?

Cc is 36 x46 the inner skins are 16ga outer is 20 ga I have 8 in air filled tires might have to change them to solid filled haven't got tomy shelves yet figure i need 8in between shelves so probaly make 4 shelves my concern is my cc might be to big if it don't heat up I'm thinking I will make a warming cabinet with part of my cc by blanking off 16 in of the right side
Mine is coming out of the top center. I might suggest that maybe a hole passing thru both skins and insulation without something in place to protect insulation is brewing a future problem. Splatter from foods, moisture and oils will eventually invade that core.
Mine is only a few inches and seals out the inner and outer skin when welded in place

Yes I was planning on sleeving the hole just looking not to have any pipe coming out of iti think it'll look cleaner I know with my reverse flow it needed a stack but with the gravity feed I'm thinking it doesn't matter
Terrific.... Glad to see that it has all come together so well. I will say this, that is one good sized cooking machine.
In testing the temps: are you using charcoal..wood..? How long of a burn did you get and how much did you fill the chute ? What are you using for paint and how will you prep the parts. Where did you place the stack?
Sorry.... I' enjoy seeing what the plans are. You are several steps ahead of me now
Great work!

Just used charcoal for first burn I used 2chimneys and it held temp great for 4 hours looked like it was going to rain so I opened everything up for last hour so u could put it back in garage I'm going to use automotive paint I used paint grip metal for the skins so I'll just wipe everything down with paint thinner and then shoot I cut a 3in joke in back for my vent I've got a piece of metal on it so I can adjust the opening size
Finally found some free time to work on my cooker got the shelves in made me an exhaust cover and got my thermometer mounted waiting on latches for chute then I'll paint
