It seems to get very exciting as we get near firing them up. Keep up the good work.

well last weekend I decided I wanted to be able to have some steady heat and built a charcoal feeder. well..... i think I added too much hot coals because all of the mesh was full and then some and it turned it into a very large chimney ;-(
luckily I only put in about 2 chimneys full. it is still removeable.

I will have to try again but just lighting it in the feeder and see what happens.

The one I did was alum. On the top as a tent with a hole for heat exhaust
