And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy.
Current smokers: Egor (trailered RF) and Easybake (tabletop pellet drive)
Thank you, I've been trying to test it for the last 2 weeks. Time has gotten diverted to older parents. My dad is 97 mom 84. Taking care of things with their house, doctors, and other needs. By the time I would like to fire up the cabinet...it is too late. Had a big pile of logs to split , that took two weekends ...and having known that some of my firewood is too fat to use in the smoker, I'd split it into smaller pieces specifically for the cooker.
I did decide to go with the blower and controller as I've never seen one in action and I think it could be another decent learning experience or even still, an expensive mistake.
It gets fired up this Friday, painted this weekend. I'm taking the Friday just for testing, recording, measuring, and who knows, maybe a test rack o' ribs.
Heck, it's lit anyway!
