Trying to fix my smoker...

Post by eccj » December 7th, 2014, 8:40 am

I have a Chargriller model 2022. (I think)
It was in perfect condition other than a little rust on the cast iron grates which I got rid of.

Two months ago I went to bring my grill back from a friends and it fell off the back of my truck!

The handle broke of and the small table in the front of the grill was bent but I pushed it back into place.

I did a big cook on it yesterday. It held temp pretty good, but I noticed a lot of smoke coming out of both sides.

I plan to buy the firebox and eventually modify it into a reverse flow. (My plans before my grill flew off the truck!) Lol

Here are the pics of the food I cooked yesterday. Image

Looks good!

Had a friend bring the exact grill to a comp for us once. Well tried to bring it anyways. Poor guy went and bought us a new one, the original was total loss,
