OK, I get the lower damper in the photo. Its from FB to warming cabinet. It allows heat directly from FB to enter the warming cabinet. Yes the tires look a little small but they work well. Stay tuned as it soon will be a tandem axle moving them back under the FB.

The one from the FB is for more direct heat (hotter) for cooking at a higher temp. The one from the CC is for low temps for doing things like Bacon or even ribs. Trust me, it's the only way to build it.
