Greetings,
Looking forward to new ideas from you good folks. I am a pipe fitter welder from south Florida by trade, LU 630. I have built a couple backyard smokers, but nothing really large. My next build is going to be a gravity feed. Could use help?
Shure would appreciate it.

Gravity feed huh? Welcome.... It is one super efficient smoker that's for sure. This was built from Smokerbuilders plan. Ultra impressed with the end result.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
Rodcrafter I have been researching on the site for some of franks builds. Maybe I will givewww.smokerplans.net a call tomorrow for some rack dimensions before I purchase plans. I apologize for the question, but maybe someone remembers a post with pictures of a finished Gravity Feed build that they could direct me to. Thanks for the referral.

Puff, I understand that you built a couple Gravity Feeds. Were they on Franks design.

Look under smoker clones in the forums and look for Puffs posts about the gravity fed that he built using Franks plans.

Big T knows, as several others...they were all electronically part of this build. This is the only one Id built however, I understand Frank is CURRENTLY working on another set of plans for a baby sized version of this one. I am ALL IN on that one as soon as those plans become available. I just cannot argue with the successes I have had with his plans. My questions are answered either with a call or comment from him and the guys here on the forum are gold....a resource not available anywhere.

Welcome aboard. I've not gone to another site since I began my build because of the success of the people here and the creativity I find here daily.

Good luck, and can't wait to see the finished product of your build.

The site is great. The part that is bad for me is the fact that I need pictures for directions. So that leaves me out. LOL

I wouldn't know. You couldn't drag me into Johnson county to save your life. ;)

Who do we have in Clay (other than myself) or Platte? My build is going on in Platte.

Jo County is a good place to sell cookers. And services. My coverage area at work used to be jo Co. Now it's north of the river. Sad part is that I do the same work and the company makes half the money being away from the yuppies.
