My Mistake....IT IS TEXAS !...On the small image of the phone, it looked like a sanding blotch that really took the shape of Texas. On the large computer monitor...I can see the difference

Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life

Starting a 110 gallon build

Post by Mankussm » January 18th, 2015, 10:43 pm

First burn is going great. Burning for 2.5hrs so far. In the first hour it went to 190. Then I pushed it to 375. I have noticed a couple pin holes so far, because seasoning oil is leaking. Other than that, everything as planned. Great airflow. I can see the flame being drawn into the chamber.

Very nice build, I'm am currently building almost the exact same smoker, with the exception of a trailer. This definitely cleared up some questions I had lurking in my head.

The only thing I would have to question about this one is the air vent on the right side. Why is it so high? At that elevation it is more of an exhaust for the FB than an inlet it seems to me.

I hope it all worked out though.
