On this point, I can't say for sure about the heat but I can say that the air flow speed does increase in that way. If I'm cooking chicken or turkey all I have to do is angle my trailer tongue up a little and it flows better for more over all heat.motoridr09 wrote:If I built another one that size I would have it angled to where it was 6" below near the firebox and 3" below on the side farthest away from the firebox to help even out the radiant heat getting to the meat.
