Spacers for Charcoal Chute on Stumps Clone

Second day into the build and Im up to putting the curbs on for the doors, it calls for 1/2" spacer and a 3/4" spacer, what I dont understand is where they go? Also Starting the charcoal chute tomorrow and where the charcoal sits where it says the rebar is, those directtions are very confusing?? Not sure what the spacing is or what hold the rebar, I understand the plans all the way through except for these two items, PLEASE HELP!

Are you talking about the flanges for the FBA? These would be shown on the FBA page in Frank's drawings. The doors on the original Stumps clone are flush with the outer surface of the smoker. The flanges are what the doors on the FBA seal against. But they are 1/4" thick on the top, and 1/2" thick on the bottom. Hope this helps.
