We call it our kitchen

Post by Smokydokey » September 13th, 2015, 10:55 am

I've been reading but not posting here since you fine folks helped me through my first, (different to say the least) smoker. Been learning to use it this summer. Several butts, a brisket, fatty, ABT's, and most recently some good sausage. I built this little covered counter space with cabinets up at my shop and hauled it down to our camp on the river behind the tractor. Sorry if this doesn't really qualify as an outdoor kitchen, mainly just wanted to say "hey" to you guy's. I've had 2-22" disc's leaning up agin the welding bench for a few months now for a disco. it's just been too friggin hot to do any non necessary welding for the past month or so. If I come up with a re-invention of the wheel (disco) I'll do a post, not much "build" to show on a disco although I do not want to fool with propane tanks,& burners. With 700+ ac. of woods, I'm burning wood damit!

this is great....now I know why I'd go back to Vermont in a heartbeat. Funny when you say things like no houses or people, some respond as if it were tragic and some respond in shear joy! Being a people person....I LOVE IT, :kewl:

Is this area Northern or southern Maine?

Western ME just below Fryburg in the "lakes region" where the mountains are starting. I'm a people person too, I just like to be able to control where, who & when :kewl:

Clarification of people person. Who the he!! are you and why are you here?

That is now a reasonably permanent setup? I love that equipment you're running.
