im lookin at the 350MPa with the dual feed with aluma-pro-plus gun.( dont know how to insert the brochure)
tig for what little i do can still be my lincoln 225
thoughts?
i demoed a mp 350 lincoln a couple years ago....it was sweet....they let me have it for a month, but i want an inverter and......................
+1 on the spoolgun. I can do the tig on aluminum with my LTEC250 but boy does it suck the power! I plan to get the spoolgun set up for my lincoln255 mig
my plan was a dual feeder with a push-pull gun on one side regular gun/mild steel on the other......for 10-12K i thought it might have AC and then i could sell my current TIG.
Yea it seems that they got away from the machines that would do mig and ac tig, that way they could sell you two machines instead of one. I have used the lincoln powerwave with the dual gun setup like you mentioned with the pushpull on one side,it welds aluminum great especially on pulse. Miller made the shopmaster 300 years ago it was a mig, stick, and ac tig. I'm not sure if you can hook a pushpull gun to it but i would say a spoolgun would be no problem. ;)
It uses the normal drive wheels and the gun has a small set of wheels that pull the wire also. Aluminum wire is soft and likes to birdnest. The pull wheels help with that.
for the price....i think im gonna sleep on it,although i been sleepin on it for a couple years ever since i demoed that pulse machine
for 10-12K i could have 3 dedicated welders
i want to be able to feed MS and AL without changing anything, hence the dual feeder one side with a push pull and the other with a regular gun,the pulse feature is the balls on AL
okay i just googled it and yeah i want one too (i dont know why but i was envisioning something similar to mine but in a 350 ) i'll go in halfers with you but we'll need to keep in at my place
So you think that money is the root of all evil. Have you ever asked what is the root of all money?
