Big Pappa's Beast
Hello to all :)
My name is Bill and I own and operate a company called "Big Pappa Bill's BBQ" in Orting Washington. My cooker is a 500 gallon, trailer mounted, reverse flow, monster called "Big Pappa's Beast"! She is an amazing wood fired cooker and in the three years since I had "Smoker Plans, aka Frank Cox make me a set of plans from my drawings, we have served our amazing BBQ to thousands of hungry, happy people. When I say "Beast", I mean it...she has over 12 THOUSAND square inches of cooking space and weighs in at 4780 pounds :) She is an integral, structural piece of the 24 foot trailer that gets us around. I saved my money for a year and the build time was a little over 4 months but was definitely worth the wait.

However, it is time to put her up for sale and will hopefully be on bbqswapper.com soon.

If it's tourist season, how come I can't shoot 'em?

I checked out bbqswapper.com, it's been a while since I looked at that site and not much (if anything) has changed in several months. I wish you luck selling it there...hopefully some here knows of other places to list it.

Hello and thanks for the replies :grillin:
The plan is to first sell "The Beast", then find a smaller trailer unit that will allow me to do a wider variety of shows. Most of the events in my home state have small spaces and getting a booth with "The Beast" can get very expensive. While I loved the design and building process, I think I will take the $$$ I get from her and look for an insulated gravity feed unit. Staying awake all night then running my booth for a day or a full weekend is getting a bit rough on the body.
Still can't seem to get anywhere with bbqswapper.com....any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
