Sweet I've had mine open for a couple of weeks while doing a few things. The wind and rain come and I just keep on doing my thing.

Thanks fellas.
Going to use a 3/4" grade 8 bolt for hinge pin. Main cover is 2" tubing side panels are 1.5" tubing. Hinge is gonna be like this.

Since the 1.5" slides inside the 2" so nice, I think I'm going to make the braces with the two. Getting closer to paint.

What sorta mechanical opening devise are you going to use? I see this is going to be heavy. You know I don't see anything wrong with heavy, it just becomes too much to do by hand.

Spring loaded pins that will be attached with a cable to the center from each end to a pull style latch to be able to swing out. The support/brace arms are going to have a swivel hinge 1.5" tubing that will slide into a 2" tubing which will swivel also. If it is too heavy for two guys to handle I will improvise a mechanical system to extend them. I have some ideas already. But hope to not have to go that route.
I prefer heavy...

Just an update. Cover and fold out sides are complete.

So far I can raise them by myself.
Next is additional storage rack and a fold up shelf along the main CC.
Then paint!!!

Very nice FC! I like the pin system. The best thing I can mention about your shelf in front of the CC is; try to get 6" below the doors at least. Or what you set on it will always be in the way.

After going back to look at the front of it again, I guess that is what you're planning since it folds up you will still be able to clean your fenders.

Dead-on RC on the fold up! I'm setting it so it will just clear the fender. Not sure what the height will be but I think it's more than 6"s. For the exact reason you mentioned. I want the doors to clear food and adult beverages...
