I would.keep the throat opening as outlined and raise the baffle plate to 9" so that it sits approximately 1" higher than the throat opening?
If you're talking about the BP gap, then you can be 100% of throat down to about 75%, or make it adjustable, but you really should have a grease dam on it.Should I make the BP adjustable? If not, should the fixed dimension match the throat opening or is there a ratio that I should follow?
