Smokinchicken
I'm finally getting around to introducing myself. My name is Greg and I'm 52 from Oklahoma. In the early 2000's I help built or supervised the construction of a log cabin concession trailer. I tried making a go in the business for awhile but didn't have the funds to really stick it out. About the same time I also built a trailer rig. Times got hard and sold both and I am just now getting the fever again. I work at a prison that has a vo-tech. I supply the materials and they build me a new trailer rig. The build should be complete by Thanksgiving and I hope to try my hand at prime rib for the holidays. My plans are to test the waters in competition but only as a once or twice a year thing. My future goal is to make a huge trailer rig with rotating shelves. Had one on my concession rig and it cooked awesome. Hope to meet a few of you guys in my travels.
