Thanks for all your support guys, we opened at 9 (still hadn't slept then & still haven't slept now) & at 11 we got smashed all the way till 3, I'm tired, ecstatic & relieved all at the same time. I'm going to go home & sleep now, so I'll see you all in a couple of days.
Hey Squiggle, well done on the restaurant opening.
You do realise that long hours in the food industry are standard don't you. My future son-in-law is a chef and he grafts long and unsocialble hours.
But I wish you all the very best in your endeavour. I'm sure you'll make a real go of it.
And as the saying goes, no pics it did not happen....
Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

Hahaha, yeah I know there's some long hours coming but the other day was a 34hr mega shift!! But being the boss I can take time off as soon as I train enough good people, that's the plan anyway, lol. Today was just as good as yesterday, flat out most of the day, I hope that it's a continuing trend.
Thanks DC, I have the same sticker on my smoker, must be a sign!
& im really sorry about the lack of Qview, I wasn't really thinking straight, or seeing straight for that matter, at 3:30 in the morning. I will definitely make sure I get some pics on the next run, which should be fairly soon after today, chicken & pulled pork rolls did really well today.
Best of luck to you and your family Squiggle!
And I LOVE your avatar pic...
And on the eighth day God created barbecue …. because he DOES love us and he wants us to be happy.
