Ahh that is looking so good. You are clearly a metal craftsman.
Look forward to your continued build.
And a busted part does slow you down. I've had a broken knee mending for two months now, get the wire out next Friday and it has definitely put a damper on moving around. Fortunately the mind is still reasonably active... well that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Question on smoke stack depth into tank. I am going to build a plenum on the outside but would like some input on correct location. Bottom rack is 12" from top 5" above bafle plate tank diameter 24". Seems opinions vary. Going with a 5" pipe 32 " length per calculator. From what I gather I shoild include the depth of pipe into tank.
On a side note I plan on doing a lot of smoked fish . I still have a stacked freezer from this season . How do these smokers bounce back from a good fish smoke as far as fishy flavor on my pork but?
I haven't done tons of fish but I have done some. I like to warm up the cooker to like 300 ish plus or minus and then spritz with water and steam clean it.
I mount the stack as high as possible on the CC and only drop it through deep enough to get a good bead on it. I have only smoked fish a few times in my current smoker and I keep it on a cookie cooling rack over a pan so I don't get any drippings in my smoker.
Those mounts are sweet!! Some say if you mount the stack at the top that it lets all the heat and smoke out and causes major temperature differences between the top and bottom racks. The others say that if you drop the stack down that it causes stale smoke to get trapped in the CC and leaves a bad taste on your food. I have always went with the stack out the highest point on the CC and I've never had any issues. I haven't experimented with dropping the stack down so I don't know if it's better or worse. It's a discussion that'll go on for ever and both sides will argue that they're right.
