This is what I spent most of my time on today.... now I know why guys say they will only build square doors and cook chambers.

We've all been there and it ain't no fun! I made a template out of cardboard to check the radius of the door so that I didn't have to keep picking the door up to check it. My CC is 3/8'' thick and the door is a whole lot heavier than you would think.

That's a good idea big t. I had a template laying there too. It didn't even think to use it!

Got the door strap put on, mounted the door with hinges, and fabbed a door handle and door stop mounted on the chimney.

I'm undecided on the counterbalance. It's not bad at all to lift actually.
