You know I just got three bags of this stuff at Restaurant Depot and used it to make some jerky, It did taste off I thought the wood I used to flavor it was too green. I think I will just use this stuff to light my stick burner. The bag says 100% natural but it doesn't say what. There are a lot of natrural things I don't want to cook with. It is made in Mexico.

Sounds like the charcoal is made from dried donkey dung,better choose another brand.I tried my hand at making my own charcoal,the results were very good,but I did notice my homemade charcoal burned much hotter than store bought,and burned up a bit quicker,but the flavor of the porklions I smoked was superb.

so the company contacted me on the 28th with a few questions they said they will send out some free items and probably retrieve the baf and a half of this charcoal I have left....we will wait to see what happens
so I didn't get much resolve from them....took them over a month and several emails to get them to send a return stamp and they had offered me nothing by this time I decided to just cut my losses
