That is great that the first one did so well. I hope you can get some help. You know you can do the whole thing with flat plate. Oh and cabinet doors. You could even get all of it shear cut.
Or you could look for tanks. lol don't let me sway your thinking.
Making memories!
Current Smokers: Backyard RF Offset and Hybrid RF Offset trailer rig with Cowboy cooker and fish fryer, always room for more........
So in the last week this is what Ive done. Fabbed 6 partial trailers, waiting for all the trailer stuff to finish them up. . Its completely 4x2 square tube..Perty stout.
As for the smoker, today I attached the fully welded firebox to CC. Cut out the Baffle plate in 2 pieces and installed. Tacked in place. Started to fitup the back of warming hut to CC. Coming along nicely. Having things plasma cut from supplier ahead of time is a savior..
Yep, looking good. And that is a massive task you have undertaken.

So between yesterday and today...
Welded out the Baffle Plate. and Dam.
Fabbed the CC shelves and shelf slider assembly.
Fitted up and tacked the Warming hut Rear panel and both sides.
Not a bad day today...
I Think its time for the CC drain and put the shelves in tomorrow.
MMMMMMM can ya smell it already!!! I sure can and it smells great!!
Shelves all done...Slides like butter. The kind of butter thats been out for a few days....
Baffle plate drain welded out and done. Just need a valve.
Welded in 2 ports from FB to WB. 4" in. tube. Sliding adjuster on top of em.
Have to say I cant wait to fire this pig up..Its ALOT of work man. Mechanical advantage is a godsend...
Thanks for listening!
Have a great weekend folks..
Peace

HUM... doing it in your sleep. Would a guy want to buy the 2nd or 3rd one or wait till your doing thing in your sleep. How much do the tolerances differ from the awake one to the asleep ones that's what I want to know.
All joking aside. wow that is a great looking smoker. looking at yours makes me want to head down pick up some more plate and add a warming box to mine. ....... DAM YOU
Ya know they get used more than you would think..If you use it enuf to justify making it., then i would say go for it. If you do it right you could hang sausages, etc, etc. up and smoke em in there. Plus make as many removable shelves as u wish.
