Yea, maybe, I've even wondered if you should run the vertical uprights another 4 to 8 inches and weld the wheel mounting plate to the bottom, then cap the bottom with sheeting.Dirtytires wrote:I see the purpose but it seems like a lot of measuring, cutting, fitting and welding. I’m willing to bet the extra cost of material covers the time investment. I do do realize that not everybody has extra material laying around....I’m just asking the question as this is the second time this has been done as of late. I’ve not built a mini.
