Looks like there is space for a cooler! Well done.

What type of paint did you use?

Lol, I am a good scrounger. I also got all of the square tubing for free, the CC handle was a broken 3/8 drive speed handle, spring was $4 at Rural King, stack material was $5 at the scrap yard. Only things I bought was the 1/4" plate, expanded metal, and thermometers. I have under $300 in the whole project. Yes, now I am just bragging. Lol

Paint is just a quart of Rust-Oleum high heat. Only used maybe a quarter of it. I have room for a cooler and a small stack of wood as well. I think it will do everything I need. But... I am starting on a 55gal UDS now

I’m building a 60 gal smoker like yours. From looking at your pics it seems I may have made my firebox too small. What is your firebox dimensions? I cut material for 20x15x15. It said 110% firebox size difference.

Thanks,
Hydrant.

If it's tourist season, how come I can't shoot 'em?

Mine is 15.75x18x18 which I think came out to be 108%
