So here’s a better shot of how I’m squaring up my inner side panels and leaving a lip for a recessed door. Our brake needs a setting adjusted on it and then I can form quarter-inch but for now I had to slit one side of the metal a little bit with a relief cut to allow the break to bend it.
So we got some more done. Then took lunch, had a couple beers, now we gotta go back to work... wish us luck! Hard to get back at it after beers happen.... forester is doin all the weldin today. He’s good at it...
Wow that is a beast of a thing. Here was I trying to find the best price for four sheets of 6mm plate for the start of the Mach and there's you using up more than that for the fire box... hahahaha... It is looking great Frank. You'll need an 18 wheeler to move that beast.
And a plasma table does take a lot of the hard graft out of cutting steel.
